Register your baby at Priory Family Hub

Parents in Hull can now register the birth of their baby at the Priory Family Hub in west Hull.

Previously, parents have only been able to register a birth at the Hull Register Office, located in the Wilson Centre in Hull City Centre.

When a child is born, their birth must be registered within 42 days of their birth date. This is a legal requirement.

During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, registrars were offering appointments at Priory Family Hub. This then came to an end, but Hull City Council has announced that registrars will be returning to the Priory Family Hub to enhance the hub offer for the families who live locally.

New parents will now no longer have to travel to the city centre to get their child’s birth registered. At the Priory Family Hub, parents can register their child’s birth in a friendly environment and find out more about what the family hub offers for children and new parents.

Family Hubs provide a wide range of services to support parents and carers throughout the first 1001 days of their child’s life and beyond, including -
