Exercise sessions for pre and postnatal women to help participants reduce stress and anxiety during pregnancy and prepare for labour and delivery. Postnatal ladies can bring their babies with them.
Us Mums hold a range of pre and postnatal women exercise sessions, such as -
- Pregnancy and Post-pregnancy Yoga
- Buggy Walks
- Boxing Fitness
- Aqua Natal
The Pregnancy and Post-Pregnancy Yoga sessions can help the participants reduce stress and anxiety during pregnancy and helps to relax the mind and body to help prepare for labour and delivery. The session also helps to improve the participants strength, flexibility and endurance in their muscles. This can help during childbirth and help to reduce lower back pain, nausea, headaches and shortness of breath as well as helping to get a good night’s sleep!
Once the participants have had their babies, they can return to the session after having their 6 to 8 week check-up.
The yoga session will help the postnatal women to -
- improve their posture by building up strength in the spine
- increase calmness and energy as well as reducing muscle tension and anxiety
- relax during meditation. (Postnatal ladies can bring their babies with them to the session)
Aqua Natal is a gentle water based exercise session. The workout can help with pregnancy niggles and improve mood with the body being supported in the water. It is also a great way to getting back into exercise after having a baby. Participants can bring their babies with them to the session in an inflatable seat.
