Multidisciplinary Specialist Mental Health Team offering assessment and treatment to pregnant women and women with a baby who are experiencing moderate or severe mental illness related to -

• complicated pregnancy
• childbirth
• new motherhood

The team consists of -

• Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Nurses
• Perinatal Psychiatrists
• Psychologists
• Psychological Therapists
• Social Workers
• Occupational Therapists
• Early Years Practitioners
• Systemic Therapists

Staff are trained in a range of interventions to treatment health and psychological problems. Including interventions to support parent or infant relationships such as -

• VIG
• PIIOS
• Grobrain
• Watch Wait
• Wonder

The team covers -

• Hull
• East Yorkshire
• North and North East Lincolnshire

And works with -

• midwifery
• obstetrics
• health visiting
• GP's
• other mental health providers
